We found out Thursday a week ago that Baby B is also a healthy girl! Hubby and I couldn't be happier knowing that we have two healthy girls.
So, our Baby A&B who have been snuggling together on the ultrasounds are indeed both girls. Wow, how amazing is it that I just knew intuitively that they are girls?
It's a bit daunting to think of raising two girls, and to think ahead to the teenage years, but at least we have some time before we get there...
Unfortunately, the chorionic villus sample from Baby C wasn't enough to culture in the lab, and we will not receive any results. Although I have this 6th sense that Baby C is perfectly fine, I'm also disappointed with the lack of information, especially given how painful it was to reach Baby C. It's hard not to feel like that was in vain. Having lived through all the waiting that IVF and pregnancy entails, I probably should have known that there'd be more waiting ahead.
I can't complain, though, we are incredibly fortunate to have three babies after infertility and I'm acutely aware of so many of my friends who continue to fight the IF battle every single day.

YAY for two girls and a healthy Baby B!
I am so happy that you know for sure you have two healthy girls in there and I am SURE C is too. Frustrating that you went through all that for no sample. You are right- the whole IF is full of waiting... and tests... and waiting.
Hugs to you, Other Cool Triplet Mommy!!! :) Are you still as tired and sore as me?
So glad you received good news about Baby B. I wish you received some news about Baby C.
Girls rock!
I am glad A&B's CVS was good- that is awesome. It does suck that C's was so elusive. sigh. I can't believe you are 14weeks already!! WOW!!! Keep up the good cookin'!
I'm sorry that you weren't able to get a good sample for Baby C - particularly after all the pain you went through to get that sample.
Speaking as a mother of BGG triplets, I hear you on the far of raising two girls into teenagerhood!
Wonderful news - two baby girls who appear to be doing well and are "on target". I have no doubt that there has been considerable anxiety for you with all the waiting, decision making, thinking ahead, trusting all will be good...(it is all tremendously personal for you and you have to do what you feel is right for you).
I understand it can only be vastly different gestating 3 babies...I once was told though that the "getting or having the babies" is the easy part. I felt mis-understood - coz that was (and is tough).
Enjoy and take delight in this miracle -as it truly is....on the other side of infertility is an entirely new "ball game"...enjoy the pregnancy - each and every moment. You are going to have many many tender moments ahead - just have to trust that all will be fine...as we do in life. You are in my prayers and also my celebrations in my heart. I am delighted about the girls and the Girly stuff is stocking up...Miss A is in 12 month old clothes already and growing and to think she was a preemie!! S
Praying for all your little ones :)
That is absolutely fabulous news! What happens now with baby C?
I'm s glad that everything is going well so far, it's quite a relief after all this IF business!
congrats on healthy baby girl2!!! That is too bad about the other results being unclear. But, 2 healthy is awesome, and bodes well for baby C.
What happy news!!! Congrats on your two girls and healthy baby C. Congratulations.
